Grant for two-dimensional artwork at a specific site Through a pedagogical and participatory methodology, the winners of this grant built the artwork in conjunction with social organizations, population and ethnic groups that live and work in the areas surrounding the artwork points. In this way, the works designed by the winning artists and groups interpret and represent the ideas and proposals of the communities that participated actively and proactively in their design. The MAB Grant for artwork at specific sites has brought together 107 artists and 20 communities with 2,853 beneficiaries. These participants include: infants, children, young people, adults, the elderly, people with hearing disabilities, people with visual disabilities; victims of the armed conflict, migrants, refugees and returnee populations, people who use psychoactive substances, LGTBIQ+ community, homeless population, indigenous communities, black communities, Afro-descendants, romani people, palenqueras, raizales, rural peasants, and recyclers. The purpose of this initiative is to transform Bogotá's public space at 50 points, consolidating itself as a national and international artistic reference hub for art in public spaces.
